2-Week Robotic Welding Bootcamp
October 15–17 & October 22–24 | 12–6 p.m.

This intensive, hands-on bootcamp takes participants beyond traditional welding and introduces them to the technologies used in robotic welding and automated manufacturing environments. Participants will gain practical experience working with robotic welding systems, including system setup and operation, robot programming, weld path development, process adjustments, safety, and troubleshooting.
With a maximum of just 8 participants, the bootcamp is designed to provide significant hands-on time with the equipment and individualized instruction.
Who Should Attend?
This bootcamp is ideal for welders looking to expand into automation, manufacturing and maintenance technicians, robotics or automation professionals who want to develop welding applications knowledge, and individuals preparing for careers in advanced manufacturing. It can also support employers looking to upskill existing employees as robotic welding and automation become more integrated into their operations.
Prerequisite: Participants should have foundational welding knowledge and experience. Individuals without prior welding experience can first complete Westmoreland’s 3-Day MIG Welding Bootcamp, creating a stackable pathway from welding fundamentals into robotic welding.
This training is especially valuable for participants who want to develop the combination of welding knowledge, robotics skills, and automation experience increasingly needed in modern manufacturing.
