Westmoreland County Community College will hold Xpress Enrollment Days on July 31 from 4-7 p.m. and August 3 and 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its Youngwood campus and centers in Latrobe, Mt. Pleasant, New Kensington, Murrysville, Uniontown and Indiana.
There are hundreds of immediate openings for line and prep cooks in professional kitchens and this program prepares students for entry-level positions in the food service industry upon successful completion.
Westmoreland County Community College will collaborate with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (ARM) to expand its Advanced Manufacturing and Robotics curriculum.
