How do I get my portal log in information?

A user name and password are required to log into the MyWestmoreland student portal. Within two business days after applying to the college, a letter will be sent to you via US Mail from our Director of Admissions/Registrar giving you your user name.

Your initial password is the first letter of your first name and the first letter of your last name, both lower case, followed by your seven digit Student ID Number. Your Student ID Number will be sent to you in a separate email to the email address you provided on your Westmoreland application.

How do I access Student Planning?

Go to https://selfservice.westmoreland.edu/Student or log into the MyWestmoreland portal. Under the Self-Service menu, select WebAdvisor for Students. Click on "Registration - Credit Classes" and then on "Student Planning."

How do I find out who my advisor is?

When you are in Self-Service, you want to go to the menu under “Student Planning” and then “Plan and Schedule”.  When on “Plan and Schedule,” go to the Advising Tab. This is where you will find your advisor.

Can I view my unofficial transcript at any time?

Yes, you can download your unofficial transcript via Self Service. When you are in Self Service, you want to visit the dropdown menu under Student Planning, Unofficial Transcript.

How do I access my online course?

On the left side of the MyWestmoreland student portal, you can access Desire2Learn for your online and classroom courses.  You can also access online courses by going to D2L.Westmoreland.edu.    

I am struggling with one of my courses, do you provide tutoring?

Yes, we have tutors available and they are available free of charge. Contact Tutoring and Learning Services directly at 724 925-4135 to make an appointment. We also offer free online tutoring through BRAINFUSE. You can access BRAINFUSE through Desire2Learn. 

After my financial aid is applied, I will have a balance. How can I pay that balance?

You can sign up for the payment plan or you can make a payment on your student portal. You can also make payment over the phone by using Visa, MasterCard or Discover by calling Student Accounts at 724 925-4000, option 6. Payment can be made in-person at any Westmoreland location by check, money order, Visa, MasterCard or Discover.

What are the hours of the Enrollment Center at the Youngwood campus?

The Enrollment Center on our Youngwood campus is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m during the month of August.   Starting in September, the Enrollment Center will be open Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. & 4-5 p.m.
