What Will I Learn?

The Biology, Pre-Pharmacy Associate of Science (AS) degree is designed to prepare students for the academic rigor of Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) programs at prestigious pharmacy schools across Pennsylvania and the United States.

This program offers a strong foundation in biology, chemistry and essential scientific skills, equipping students with the critical thinking, laboratory experience, and technical communication abilities needed to succeed in a professional pharmacy program.

Because Pre-Pharmacy requirements can vary significantly between institutions, students are strongly encouraged to identify their preferred pharmacy school early and use its admissions guidelines to tailor their coursework.
